I am very pleased to know that you are doing a great service to humanity by disseminating the spiritual knowledge of Integral Yoga with special emphasis on bhakti (devotion to God). Love of God is the most effective remedy for all the unrest and turmoil of the modern world.
The Godward movement must touch and transform every part of one’s personality, transforming action by karma-yoga, emotion by bhakti-yoga, the will by rāja-yoga (aṣṭāṅga-yoga), and reason by jñāna-yoga. Thus, everyday life must become a blend of the symphony of the four yogas: karma, bhakti, dhyāna and jñāna.
Our guru, Śrī Swami Śivānandajī Mahārāja never tired of saying: “serve, love, give, purify, meditate, realize, be good, do good, be kind, be compassionate.” This sums up the teachings of Integral Yoga.
Your beautiful book Yoga—Union with Reality contains all the essential insights into the major and minor aspects of yoga. May God shower His choicest blessings on you and the spiritual seekers.
