Prabhuji Mission is a 501(c)(3) New York Religious not-for-profit organization, whose main purpose is to serve as a church in the Hindu tradition. Prabhuji, H.H. Avadhūta Bhaktivedānta Yogācārya Śrī Ramakrishnananda Bābājī Mahārāja is the founder and spiritual authority of the Church. The mission observes, practices, and preserves the Hindu religion according to the vision and teachings of Prabhuji, which align with the ecumenical spirit of Hinduism (Sanātana-dharma or “the eternal religion”), namely appreciating and incorporating the essence and spiritual wisdom of all world religions and spiritual paths.

Śrī Śrī Bhagavān Yeshua Jagat Jananī Miriam Premānanda Mandir (temple)

Following the path of devotion, known as Bhakti yoga, Prabhuji Mission operates a Hindu temple for the monastic order and the congregation. The temple provides regular temple worship and ceremonies conducted by the monastic Brahmanas (priests), as well as holidays ceremonies and other religious services. The temple operate daily program which includes deity worship, Kirtan (devotional chanting), meditation, and philosophy classes. 

Avadhutashram

Hindu Monastery – Hermitage of Prabhuji and the disciples of the Ramakrishnananda Monastic Order, a contemplative monastic community that practices the Hindu religion in accordance with the ‎ecumenical and universal vision of Prabhuji.‎

Retroprogressive Institute

Prabhuji Mission provides religious and spiritual education by the way of knowledge, Jñana yoga. Prabhuji and his disciples conduct lectures and courses on various scriptures, as well as religious and spiritual subjects.

Book publication

Prabhuji Mission promotes the inclusive message of Hinduism and the liberal, interfaith, and ecumenical teachings of Prabhuji via books. A team of disciples is responsible for books publication production: editing, translating,designing, illustrating, publishing, and distributing.

Retroprogressive Yoga Academy

An online academy that offers Hatha Yoga classes to the general public. The classes are taught by Prabhuji’s disciples who are authorized by him to teach according to his particular Hatha Yoga method that is called Retroprogressive Yoga.   Hatha-yoga is the path that leads us to the realization of our body as the door and the path toward ourselves. Retroprogressive ‎ Yoga prepares the practitioner for dhyana or meditation. It rejuvenates the body and is beneficial to one’s health.

Online presence

Prabhuji Mission operates different online educational channels. This department is in charge of designing, maintaining and updating all the mission websites, social media accounts, online magazines, radio and video channels, podcasts, and more.

Video production

Prabhuji Mission provides free education through video lectures of Prabhuji and his monastic disciples. The video production team is in charge of the lecture’s scenery, lighting and sound, equipment maintenance and improvement, videography, video editing and archiving. The final production is passing on to the online presence team.

Library

Prabhuji mission collects and preserve spiritual and religious literature and lectures of Hindu scriptures (śāstras) from all spiritual paths and religions, and other supporting fields such as psychology, philosophy, and world wisdom.

Prabhuji’s Gifts

Prabhuji appreciates the essence of all religions and advocates understanding and harmony, as well as brotherhood and fraternity among them. To facilitate tools for practices and rituals from all spiritual paths, in order to help spread the spirit of religion and love of God Prabhuji Mission founded Prabhuji’s Gifts LLC. Ministers are in charge of customers education, support and sales; research on rituals of different faiths to develop new products; photography, graphic, writing or recording educational material, new product receiving and quality control, warehouse organization, inventory counts, shipping management, and more. Prabhuji’s Gifts, donates 100% of its proceed to Prabhuji Mission.

Humanitarian Projects

The divine lies in the core of every human being, as an expression of love of God. Prabhuji Mission operates charitable programs such as “Prabhuji Food Distribution Program”: a weekly food pantry which is feeding  more than 1500 individuals in Greene County, NY and the surrounding area and “Prabhuji Toy Distribution Program”, a Christmas distribution of toys and gifts to hundreds of children of the less privileged families in the surrounding area.
